About You
The Company
We were able to attend numerous workshops during the scheme to improve skills such as presenting pitches and advocacy.
We had a little less work and more play than I'd expect to have if I was working full time for Hogan Lovells, but everyone was very open about their hours and gave very balanced accounts of their experiences.
Everyone was extremely warm, friendly and helpful.
The Workshop on 'Demistifying Law Firms' and others on legal case studies were really helpful.
Everything Else
We were paid £300 per week which was more than enough to pay for food and accommodation within walking distance.
Yes, there was a surprising level of exposure to partners at the firm and the Summer Reception allowed us to meet numerous trainees, partners and future joiners.
Really fun and well organised.
For example I was able to play for the firm's softball team against another firm, and go out for dinner with the players afterwards.
My friends from other schemes are now applying for training contracts at Hogan Lovells!
