The Role
Very enjoyable, I had a fantastic and supportive team, was given lots of responsibility, opportunities to attend events and had a variety of tasks.
Something I noticed early on, and caught glimpses of during my Interview day, was how friendly everyone is and how equally you are treated.
I had weekly 1 to 1 meetings with my manager a review at the end of the placement. They were always happy to help me out whenever I had questions and the whole team were extremely approachable with both work and personal issues.
There was a good balance, I had complete control how my managed my time and organised my tasks.
I was definitely given more responsibility than I expected! A real motivator.
Whether it will be my improved communication and team work skills or confidence I've gained here, I will carry a lot of the skills forward and they'll definitely make an impact on my final year at university.
The Company
Everyone is friendly and gets along really well. I've never worked in another office so extremely tough to compare but it seems rather unique.
Was given a lot of responsibility and felt as though I fit well into the team. I had clear projects and fairly clear objectives
I was given lots of training throughout the entire placement.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and NI is a great company to work!
The Culture
If you want to do something, you'll 100% find someone at work do come along!
More expensive than where I go to University (Birmingham)
Newbury is quiet compared to where I went to uni, but It is close enough to Reading and London for it not to be a big problem.
Plenty of activities going on, and more to be organised if you want to!
