The Role
Interesting work, always had lots to do Valuable experiance
Immediatly part of the team Went out socially and remained friends
Managed by MDs and Directors giving you advice and tips throughout
Always a lot to do Some late nights which are tough Good insight into the daily life of investment banking though
Worked on smoe live deals Difficult to gain first hand exposure to clients though
Computer skills Communication skills Banking/Accountancy skills
The Company
Serious and formal in general, like an office needs to be Dress down days once every two months or so is a nice way to relax More relaxed after 7/8PM when more seniour colleagues have gone home
Brilliant HR team Campus Recruitment were always there to help Assigned Mentors etc. in a scheme designed to help interns integrate into the office and company in general
Extensive training (accountancy, communication, IB Systems, Technology) One week training at the beginning of the internship

Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
WOuld love to work here full time, not sure what the chances are of a job however!
The Culture
Always someone who wants to go out Never alone!
London is always expensive but you expect that and it is worth it occassionally
Again, very good but have to be willing to pay Not much choice in Central London
Sports clubs and social events were regular and well adverstised Always someone to ask, advertising boards around the office
