The Role
Very interesting insight into the Investment Banking Industry Always had things to be kept busy with contributing to the team
I felt part of the team as soon as I joined, socialising with colleagues and staying friends after the internship Encouraged to take part in team training sessions, team meetings always
Managed by MDs and Heads of Department who gave advice and tips throughout the duration of my stay Willing to help with problems and provide a real help as to what was expected of me
Very busy but manageable with the help of the team Always things to be getting on with and there were a few late nights but its all worth it!
A reasonable amount, its hard to gain exposure to clients in a 8 week period Worked on live deals etc with VPs who were in direct contact with the clients
Fantastic training scheme, a weeks solid trainng at the begining of the internship
The Company
Serious and foral when it needed to be (generally throughout the week) Often more casual in the evenings or on dress down days
Exceleent HR and Campus Recruitment teams on hand to help with anything you may need Provided a speaker series and even an assistant to help with the administration of personal finances etc.
One week intense training really helped with the on the job work, cannot complain at all
