The Role
A great deal.
After a slow start I began to feel like a valued member of the team both in and out of the workplace.
I had weekly informal chats with my supervisor and official meetings once every 3 months to discuss my APC and general progress.
Things can get a bit manic, but generally I am given a managable workload that ensures I never get bored.
Towards the end of my placement I found myself undertaking more work independently, but under the guidance of a more experienced surveyor.
I have now completed an entire year of my APC and believe that the practical skills I have been able to develop will be invaluable to me upon my return to University.
The Company
A good group of people and plenty of social activities outside of the office.
Full graduate induction week and regular emails with graduate HR to catch up
Sponosored my RICS membership and training, purchased me a passport to the CPD Foundation, bi-weekly internal CPD and paid for me to go on a couple of external training courses.

I have a contract to rejoin the company after graduating!
The Culture
Occasional drinks after work.
W1 is expensive.
Great, but expensive.
Plenty of sports clubs and events. Our department sports day and Surveyor's 7s training in Hyde Park were notable highlights.
