The Role
Microsoft offer an incredible amount of opportunities, both inside and outside of your job role.
Even as an intern you are treated as a core member of the team.
I had a very varied job role so always had tasks to be getting on with.
I had a great deal of customer interaction and dealt with important processes.
I learnt a huge amount working at Microsoft about how large companies run and the future prospects I wish to pursue.
The Company
I worked in the sales team so the office was always buzzing.
At Microsoft you have the opportunity to sit the Microsoft Office exams.

The Culture
Yes - we always organised nights out together, in addition to Christmas parties and leaving drinks.
Reading is a student city so the cost of living isn't too high.
Reading has a number of good nightclubs and bars with events most days of the week.
There are a number of sports clubs and societies at Microsoft, from photography to kite-surfing.
