The Role
I very much enjoyed the different places and different tasks that I was required to do
Everyone I worked with was very friendly, and always went out of their way to make sure I was enjoying my time there. I couldn't say a bad thing about any of them.
I was valued by all staff, and on client jobs there was often a manager present and I was treated like one of the team. They were very helpful and supportive if I ever had any queries.
I was not expected to work as late as other people on the team as I was only an intern, and I thought this was a good approach to adopt, as any longer and it would have been too much!
I was given sections of the audit that it was my job to complete, and then a manager would check over it and give me feedback just like I was any other employee.
Completing the internship has given me a good insight into how the world of work is, and more specifically, how the world of business works. Regardless of whether my career path takes me to the same place the experience will always be valuable.
The Company
The office itself was serious in that everyone ahd a lot of work, but no one seemed stressed and everyone was always friendly. There are social events which are organised once a year, and it seemed to me that many employees were friends and there was a lot of meeting up after work hours.
Very good. By the first day I knew exactly what I was doing and where for the whole placement.
We were taken on a 2 day resedential training course at the start of the placement.
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
I have been offered a job with them.
The Culture
We all got on well but due to the short length of time and our different working locations we didn't see each other very much.
Bristol can be quite an expensive area to live.
I'm a student in Bristol- I know it all!
Not really, but I was only there for 4 weeks.
