    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I very much enjoyed the different places and different tasks that I was required to do

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone I worked with was very friendly, and always went out of their way to make sure I was enjoying my time there. I couldn't say a bad thing about any of them.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was valued by all staff, and on client jobs there was often a manager present and I was treated like one of the team. They were very helpful and supportive if I ever had any queries.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was not expected to work as late as other people on the team as I was only an intern, and I thought this was a good approach to adopt, as any longer and it would have been too much!

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given sections of the audit that it was my job to complete, and then a manager would check over it and give me feedback just like I was any other employee.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Completing the internship has given me a good insight into how the world of work is, and more specifically, how the world of business works. Regardless of whether my career path takes me to the same place the experience will always be valuable.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The office itself was serious in that everyone ahd a lot of work, but no one seemed stressed and everyone was always friendly. There are social events which are organised once a year, and it seemed to me that many employees were friends and there was a lot of meeting up after work hours.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very good. By the first day I knew exactly what I was doing and where for the whole placement.

    5/5
