The Role
Involved in lots of different projects and issue fixing, given a very good overall view of what it's like to work here
All very approachable, and they are eager to show me as many different aspects of the work as possible.
I only have an interim manager at the moment so not a great deal from him, but a lot from my surrounding colleagues.
Bit hit or miss, some days had to stay late, but i have never been bored.
Lots of different responsibilities, mainly when people were on holiday i would do their testing for them. had to take care of some of the more bureaucratic jobs, which wasn't as enjoyable, but neccessary.
Mostly skill for working in the company, but easily transferrable and will be handy for uni projects this year.
The Company
Busy. the team are a good laugh, but it is a very busy dept so it comes and goes. not a bad atmosphere by any means.
Didn't really have any projects laid out other than to assist this one person, but he has given me a lot of work, and different kinds of work,
Online training mostly, with oppourtunities to take part in other training, but 3 month interns don't really do this
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
A great sounding grad scheme, which is a lot easier to get into having been on placement
The Culture
Living with about 50 others in Halls in Coventry is amazing
Not too expensive at all, compared to some of the surrounding areas.
Coventry may be a bit "rough", but it's what you make of it, and with the people i'm living with it's awesome
A team meal in my first week and not much else, but it is holiday season so everyone is kind of coming at going at the momement.
