The Role
It was really interesting work and I feel I learnt a lot
I was able by the end to carry out some tasks completely by myself and got to know my colleagues overal quite well.
Any questions I had were answered and when given a task they always checked I knew what to do.
Some days especially when another work experience student was here their were some lags in work but gerenerally if I finished a project and asked for more work there would be something.
Understandbly some of my work need checking as I was carrying out work that needed approval tho some aspects I was left to do alone.
I now have a far better understanding of the valuations system and has help me consider switching course to an RICS accedited one
The Company
It was a relaxed office which would have fun
I was the first intern the office had had so considering the placement was very well organised
My collegues trained me to do the tasks required
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
The website says that attending the summer placement is the best way to get onto thei graduate scheme which I hope to do
The Culture
It was just myself in the department
I drove in from home and any sociallising was paid for by Savills. getting lunch etc was average.
Didn't go on nights out
There weren't really many activities outside of work for me personally but I could see how as a full time employee there wuld be many
