The Role
Although the first few weeks were quite daunting, once I settled in and began to fully understand the working of the company and build relationships it was a great job.
The level of trust and responsibility given to you makes it clear that you quickly become a valued member of the team.
Wen you were able to secure time with supervisors they were really supportive and had lots of knowledge/experience they were more than happy to impart.
For the most part you would have loads to do, but never more than you could handle.
More than you would expect. You would be given clear responsibilities and projects which provide great opportunities to showcase your abilities and end the placement with tangible achievements. However you would always be working with others even if you are leading a project; so there are always people on hand to help you if need be.
It was a great experience that undoubtedly developed skills I never considered, and developed skills further than I could ever have imagined.
The Company
Unilever invests a great deal into students/graduates. Personal development is a high focus and is considered of great importance.

Working from home
If you show you can perform well against the company's key competencies and if you're keen there is a good chance of securing yourself a graduate role.
The Culture
Unfortunately this is the key downside of London!
Not amazing in the area around work, but you wouldn't need to venture too far for a good nightlife.
