The Role
I joined a team that was going through a large amount of change, and this created a great number of challenges and opportunities.
The mechanisms for feedback and the general culture were fantastic, I felt really valued.
I was fortunate to have a fantastic manager and a number of mentors during my time, to give me direction and advice.
I was kept very busy and took on reach projects. Time management was a crucial skill.
I was given a great degree of autonomy and some responsibility on certain programmes/projects.
I would say that work experience is now a mandatory part of the university programme (it was not an option at my University, I chose to seek work) and that the lessons I take from this year will set me up for success in my degree and beyond.
The Company
There was generally a good working environment and everyone is friendly and approachable.
Good support from Business Groups and UK HR Team.
I was given ample opportunity to take on reach projects and encouraged to seek and act on feedback.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen

The Culture
Generally good environment.
Very expensive, but worthwhile.
Generally good.
