    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • I don't think I would make any changes! There has been a great balance of desk time, insight into the firm, and of course social events. It's been a fairly full on 3 weeks, but I certainly feel like I've got the most out of the scheme.

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • One of the friendliest work places I've ever come across!

    4/5

  • Project Nabarro was particularly beneficial - it gave us the opportunity to develop our team work, organisation and presenting skills.

    3/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • Sitting with an associate gave me a great idea of life at the firm. Also, spending 3 weeks within one department gave me a much clearer idea of a lawyer's life than I could have gained in just one or two weeks.

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • Exposure to genuine client work, as well as a variety of networking and social opportunities mean that we gained a great understanding of what Nabarro is about.

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • My career path was already decided, however this scheme definitely confirmed it.

  • £250 per week - several meals were also provided at social events and breakfast meetings too.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • There were plenty of opportunities to meet employees, and even if this wasn't enough, the firm's open door policy meant that everyone was more than happy to have a chat!

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Particular favourites were bowling, kareoke and pub quiz - even the partners got involved!
