About You
Good fun and very intense; never had a free moment between the project, the work and the socials.
Got on with most people I met from the firm, and almost everyone else on the scheme - there were always people from all over the firm willing to stop and chat, and I was also invited for coffee with a partner, lunch with my department and to play cricket with the firm
Nothing to add - the balance between challenging work and well-structured support was perfect.
Incredibly useful as an insight into the working world and law in practice generally.
The Company
Everything was planned and communicated, and the events were well thought out to provide something for everyone.
The general atmosphere was great - I felt supported and integrated very quickly (fyi - not sure if "fun never stopped" is the benchmark for a good atmosphere).
Very much so - the effort and energy that goes into the three weeks is amazing.
I undertook several trainee duties; it was like I was working there already.
On a three week law scheme, which is longer than most, you can't help but understand how the firm works.
Confirmed things for me.
Everything Else
Nominal pay of £250 a week, but it left something over after buying travel.
There was a specialist networking session, in addition to all the other socials and opportunities! Can't say better than that.
Extremely good. 5 official events over a 3 week period, but many more chances besides.
I played cricket. Other people played tennis and went for drinks. We were all told about pro-bono and sporting opportunities.
Yes absolutely, if they were interested in law and commercially minded/
