About You
The insight day was extremely enjoyable with interesting games incorporated within the day.
During the insight I felt very valued.
There was a lot of guidance available for further application to the Bank of England for Industrial Placements as well as Summer internships. It was extremely valuable guidance which will help my applications.
The skills gained at the Bank of England will help towards my future applications for internships and make me more aware about what skills interviewers are looking for.
The Company
The insight day was structured extremely well, with many opportunities to socialise with other students and graduates as well as staff at the Bank of England.
The general atmosphere was extremely light and welcoming. Every member was open and willing to answer questions.
The Bank of England develops your knowledge regarding the application process and what recruiters are looking for within individual applications.
The insight allowed me to have a basic idea of what a full time role at the Bank of England would consist of and the types of roles I might have as an intern or graduate student.
The insight briefly looked at the company culture giving a small insight as to what the society does within and outside working hours.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed any transportation costs for the insight.
There were many opportunities provided within the day to communication with employees as well as other students at the event as well. Group activities were a great opportunity as well as Lunch Breaks.
The networking and social event opportunities were brilliant and were integrated seamlessly into the day.
There was a brief discussion into social activities employees were involved in outside working hours.
The insight is extremely beneficial for any economics/business student looking to apply within the financial industry.
