  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • A fantastic insight into life as a trainee solicitor - exhausting but really enjoyable.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • Very much so. The firm has a collegiate atmosphere and I felt really integrated from day one.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • To question was ever too stupid and the lawyers, from partner to trainee, were always happy to help. Everyone was really supportive of and interested in me.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I now know what to expect from the early years of a legal career and it has given me a taste for more!

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Absolutely no complaints here - the structure and organisation could not have been better. A great blend of social events and legal experience.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • I think it was extremely department dependent, but for me, everyone was really welcoming and I never felt like a burden. Nabarro seemed like a genuinely friendly firm.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • I dread to think how much the firm spent on us over our three weeks - but it is really appreciated.

    • I felt like a fully integrated staff member.

    • I was fully integrated into the department and the firm - I have no doubts that the supportive and open culture was genuine.

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?

    • Difficult to say - I really enjoyed the daily work, but am still not sure it is an area I would want to qualify into. Certainly confirmed my desire to become a lawyer though.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • We even had a netwoking event that involved external interns!

    • Really enjoyable and it was great to see the Partners getting involved in the Kareoke too!

    • We have a briefing in the first week on life as a trainee which was really informative.

    • It was a great experience that I would reccommend to any aspiring city lawyer.
