About You
generally it's good
many interactions and Q&As
There was an interesting business game: we were put in different groups and acted as commercial banks and we need to interactive with the centre bank in the open market operations and negotiate with other peer commercial banks in order to get the best interest rates, and the whole idea of this game was to simulate the primary work of the centre bank and to give us a better understanding of how banks operate.
information we received was basically came from presenations, discussions and business game (this one was really good), but there was no tour in the bank and thus not so much visual and first hand experience of what exactly they are doing there.
The Company
very structured, and it had varies of activities, including brief, business game, lunch networking, presentation, coffee break networking, panel discussion, etc., but the pity was that there was no tour in the bank, which was different as I expected.
people there were nice
Because it's just an insight day (only one day) aiming at telling us the infomation, and there was not much training or investment
be vividly illustrated by the business game
there was no presetation talking about the culture, but you can get a sence of the culture from people's talking, rigorous for example.
more info about the selection process than website, for example, what kind of support we can get.
Everything Else
expenses reimbursement is up to 35 pounds, and you need to, pay the rest yourself if there is any.
Nice neteworking opportunities in both lunch and coffee break
Good, with both employees, current interns and other candidates
gyms for example, mentioned in the brochure and the panel discussion
It was generally a good insight day
