The Role
Set an interesting and valued project. Great to experience the business as a whole and meet people from different functions of the business.
Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. Wasn't made to feel like 'The Intern'.
Given a 'buddy' who is on the Grad Scheme to answer any questions and provide guidance where necessary. Good communication and clear direction by Line Manager.
Good balance between having work to do but not feeling overloaded.
Enough to make my work feel worthwhile.
Learnt a lot about communication and Excel skills.
The Company
Friendly and lively open plan office. Dogs allowed too so that was great.
Very well organised induction and trips to other Mars sites and factories around the country.
I feel like they invested a lot of time in my understanding of the role and my personal development.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Very appealing as Associates of the company don't seem to have a bad word to say.
The Culture
Yes, depends what you make of it.
Cheaper in comparison to the area I come from.
Seemed lively.
Rounders outside of the office.
