The Role
The work I have done and the people I have met on the course of this internship have been very helpful and friendly and I will be staying in touch with a lot of them!
I was left with a lot of responsibility, much more than I thought I would be. Often my In Charge and Manager would not be at the office/site so a lot of the time had to use my own initiative, which shows that they trusted me to complete good quality work.
Support was always there when I needed it, whether that be by management, in charges or just simply associates helping me out.
When I had been assigned to jobs I was at a perfect balance, but when I was trying to get assigned to jobs where I wasn't assigned to anything it was difficult to keep occupied, as the jobs I got from days where I was available only took around 5-10 minutes. But the dragons den project helped to keep me occupied.
Much more than what I expected. On one of my clients I was responsible for the controls testing for cash, payroll, expenditure and income, something I really didn't expect!
Was very helpful, and especially relevant to the job I want to go into, and also for my accounting and finance degree.
The Company
People were very friendly, talked at a sociable level. But also people knew that there was work to be done.
In most cases I knew what I was assigned to, but on a couple of occasions it was very last minute finding out information.
Lots. We had a training week up in Staverton and also in Bristol. We did lots of compliance tests to get us up to speed, and also the work on the job was a helpful experience.

Company Parties/Events
Managed to secure a graduate job with the firm!
The Culture
Placement students were very great to get along with, and will remain good friends!
Cardiff is a good city to live in cost-wise.
As a student at Cardiff, the nightlife is great. Didn't get much of a chance to experience it in work.
In the Cardiff office there didn't seem like much when putting it in comparision with Bristol.
