The Role
It was much better than I expected.
Yes but with limited technical knowledge there were occasions when I was understandably not able to help.
Supervision was excellent. It was of a high quality, regular and I felt that supervisors actually cared about my progress
A good amount of work. I was kept busy but with nothing that was too technical.
A fair amount but a lot of the work I received was business development rather than client focussed.
If an accounting backgroud is one that I pursue then the skills learnt here will be give me a great headstart in future.
The Company
Very relaxed and friendly but everyone was expected to work hard.
Everything was organised very well and we were looked after exceptionally.
PwC held nothing back. It really seemed that they were investing in us and wanted us to come back if the fit was right.
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Haven't heard yet but the odds are good in general.
The Culture
Yes, a few pub sessions and even a couple of intern nights out.
Reasonably expensive but nothing compared to London.
Good student population in Bristol so lots of good nightlife.
Lots of sports clubs (football, cricket)
