The Role
Although the work I was able to do was quite limited, I really enjoyed the people I worked with and the atmosphere in the office.
People were always happy to give me work whenever they had any which was suitable for me. The feedback system also meant that I was able to see how much they valued the work I produced.
I saw my buddy on a daily basis and my manager weekly.
It varied, but the placement project meant that even when work was scarce, there were other things to be getting on with.
I was given responsibility for the tasks delegated to me.
I gained a real insight into the firm and accoutancy in general
The Company
very lively and chatty, but still professional
not much was organised for the interns on a regular basis in terms of socials, but my department certainly organised several and varied events.
I received a lot of technical learning in the first (induction) week and always had access to internal learning tools.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
I was offered a job
The Culture
All the other interns were very sociable
fairly reasonable
pretty good! the office is located in a city centre with ease of access to bars and restaurants.
There were lots of social events
