    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • During the six weeks, I was involved in a range of work that did push me. Some days of the job, the work itself was very mundane and boring but by the end of the internship, I was given more challenging work after having proved that I was capable so I really enjoyed towards the end.

    • My team was very close and the work I did was valued by all the team.

    • I was given support and guidance when I asked for it but I do feel at the start there could have a little bit more support in settling in.

    • Towards the end of the internship, I was extremely busy due to people being on holiday so it was very intensive.

    • As an intern, I wasn't given too much responsibility at the start but as I proved myself, I was gradually given more and more responsibility but all my work was checked by seniors to ensure it was correct.

    • I have picked a lot of people skills that will definitely help me in my life.
