The Role
Was really good, felt like I was involved in real day to day tasks.
The tasks you are asked to complete all have a large impact on the deliverables of a project and therefore you feel like a real key part of the group.
Great support was offered, whenever I needed help the whole team were happy to assist/point you to someone that could.
In any competitive corporate job there will always be work that sometimes gets stressful, however this was rare and any busy parts of the project were immediately followed by praise from team members higher up.
Large amounts of responsibility was given; you can take on as much or as little work as you want.
The skills learnt in this internship although basic are core to any corporate job and I feel are therefore invaluable.
The Company
Good balance, fairly relaxed environment.
Although the application process was long, once on the internship the organisation was close to seamless.
Felt the company really invested you.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Was offered a job after the internship.
The Culture
Every Friday and Thursday people were encouraged to stay after work and socialise, networking or playing sports.
I lived at my parent's home, so the cost was very low.
The Reading Office has minimal nightlife, but its not too far from London.
Regular emails were sent round for socials and sporting activities.
