About You
I was given a fantastic range of work by a range of people. The socials were great too!
Both Grad Recruitment and the department I sat with made every effort to make me feel welcome and valued.
The trainees in my department really went out of their way to help me out.
The liasing I had to do both over the phone and via email taught me lessons about tone and language choice which will be very valuable throughout my career.
The Company
The timetable was simple but easy to follow. There was a great focus on department time.
The perfect balance of serious/business and good fun.
I leant a lot from the work I did in my department. The breakfast breifings were useful too and provided a good insight into the work done by various departments.
There were many full days of department work.
I felt very included and was given a real insight into the culture of the firm.
Put it this way, I now know where I want to be!
Everything Else
The pay is highly reasonable.
The partner dinner was particularly useful for making contacts. There were more relaxed events too though, like drinks and a pub quiz, both of which were attended by members of the firm from different levels of seniority.
They were varied, well attended and fun!
There was mention of a "Nabarro Day" and I know there was a cricket match on at one point.
Go for it.
