About You
The Vacation Scheme at Nabarro gives you a real insight into what being a commercial lawyer is like. The firm also hosts a good balance of events to keep you busy. I would really encourage you to apply to the Nabarro vacation scheme.
Every person in the team I'm working in has taken the time out to get to know me. The work I have completed is work that trainees would have completed if I wasn't at the firm. You aren't just a summer student who is put in an office here - you're a real part of the team!
By the end of the scheme, your organisation and time management skills should have drastically improved!
The Company
A perfect balance of work, social events and training sessions.
The team I was in was excellent. Other vacation schemers have also made similar comments about their departments.
A vacation scheme in the same department for three weeks is an excellent idea. You really get to grips with what goes on in a commercial law firm.
Everything Else
The experience is worth more than money.
The firm held an in-house "how to network" session which was a great learning tool.
Meeting other people was really encouraged. Partners were in regular attendance at events.
Absolutely.
