The Role
Very nice environment in which to work, made even better by the company and support of the people in my team.
Everything was always done as a team within our department which gave it a friendly atmosphere and a real sense of immediate integration into the group.
Being in close proximity to my supervisor meant that I could get help and support whenever it was needed.
Personally I found the working environment quite relaxed in the sense that providing you were keeping on top of your work there was always time to learn new things and develop and test your own ideas at a comfortable pace.
Definitely more than I would have expected as I was given tasks which, upon completion, would be of actual use to the group in the future.
The help and training which was given to me was really excellent and I think it will definitely prove useful in the fututre.
The Company
Fairly lively atmosphere with everyone having an enjoyable time but not so much that it was no longer possible to get on with the work.
Everything ran extremely smoothly and my internship was structured in a reasonable and logical manner.
Everyone in my group was extremely friendly and willing to help whenever I was unsure of something thus making the placement a very enjoyable experience.
From my experience with the company as an intern so far, I believe it would be a reasonably good company to work for.
The Culture
Lots of friendly people and as a result a nice atmosphere to be in.
With offices being located in central London the general cost of everything is quite high.
Not sure, early starts combined with a fairly lengthy commute meant that staying up till the early hours of the morning wasn't much of an appealing prospect during my placement.
I suppose the advantage of working in the centre of London is that pretty much anything you could want is just a few tube stops away.
