The Role
Found the whole experience really enjoyable. Everybody welcomed me in the office, and the best thing was to have other interns/peers that you could socialise and meet.
Everybody took time to talk to me, learn about what I had been doing and treeted me like any other colleague.
All the time people gave me guidance and support in my internship.
I was always given enough work to keep me busy, but also had enough time to socialise and do other things.
I was given responsibility over certain tasks during the internhip but obviously I also knew who I could see as I was only responsible for completing the work given to me by a given deadline.
Learnt how to network, get on with people in different situations, and prioritise work loads, all skills for life.
The Company
There was a seriousness in the office as the work everyone was doing was tough, but at the same time everybody had a good sense of humour and people did have a laugh.
Dedicated internship team ran the whole thing.
We all felt like we were given a level of training and development, and the firm spent money on us during our internship.
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Every intern had the opportunity to get a job at the end of the internship depending on how well they performed.
The Culture
Over 150 other interns were on the scheme to socialise with.
Reading was not too expensive.
Had plenty of opporunities for nights out after work with colleagues or other interns.
Invited on all the office teams/clubs.
