  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • An enjoyable and interesting insight into the insurance industry.

    • Friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the office.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • Could have done with more structure. Often left to ones own devices. Value of internship depended on own initiative interact with different teams and find work which is not necessarily a bad thing.

    • Only very rarely were there quiet moments with little to do.

    • Enough responsibility but would have enjoyed more

    • Not necessarily skills towards the degree but certainly helped develop a sound undertading of the insurance industry which will put me in good stead for a future career.

    • Friendly atmosphere. Would have enjoyed an opportunity to meet some of the grads early on

    • recruitment process very well structured but felt that my personal experience would have benefited from more organisation.

    • Well thought out 'Lunch and learn' opportunities each week.
