The Role
Very interesting placment. Had the chance to work on two different projects. Experience of a life time.
Coleagues were caring, and helpfull.
I was provided with all the tools necessary to complete the task. Once a week I had meetings with my manager where ihad the chance to ask questions. I was also able to receive help on a daily basis if I would need it.
Not very busy. The managers understand that I am learning and set schedule of work accordingly.
I received a quite responsible task, design a block which could potentialy end up in the final IC, however I did not feel a lot of responsibility because everythign is double checked by the group leader.
I have learned a lot new things that will be so helpful. Starting from thechinical stuff to general understanding how big companies work. I especially became proficient in using UNIX systems which will come in very handy later.
The Company
Everybody is quite busy and occupied.
Very well organised, starting from the first day we had induction. My manager was also very well organised.
The company invested a lot by giving a chance to work here. Summer placement students work slower and do more mistakes so for the company this will become a win only in the long run.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
The chances of me getting a job are greater now that i have completed a summer internship.
