  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very interesting placment. Had the chance to work on two different projects. Experience of a life time.

  • Coleagues were caring, and helpfull.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was provided with all the tools necessary to complete the task. Once a week I had meetings with my manager where ihad the chance to ask questions. I was also able to receive help on a daily basis if I would need it.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Not very busy. The managers understand that I am learning and set schedule of work accordingly.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I received a quite responsible task, design a block which could potentialy end up in the final IC, however I did not feel a lot of responsibility because everythign is double checked by the group leader.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have learned a lot new things that will be so helpful. Starting from thechinical stuff to general understanding how big companies work. I especially became proficient in using UNIX systems which will come in very handy later.

  • Everybody is quite busy and occupied.

  • Very well organised, starting from the first day we had induction. My manager was also very well organised.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The company invested a lot by giving a chance to work here. Summer placement students work slower and do more mistakes so for the company this will become a win only in the long run.

  • The chances of me getting a job are greater now that i have completed a summer internship.

  • I didnt understand this question. Ingore answer.

  • It was ok. But I wasnt interested in socializing.

  • Not interested in nightlife. But I heard its ok.

  • Many. Sports, dancing, tourism etc.....
