The Role
Best team and a fun enviornment to work in
I felt part of the team and my colleagues treated me as a equal
My management always supported me even at busy times and gave me a lot of my own responsibility
Generally well balanced but there were quiet times where the time seemed to stand still.
I had a lot of responsibility and took over the work of one of my collegues when they left as they were not replaced.
I recieved a lot of training and learnt so much but I now realise i would like to pursue a career in Accounting rather than finance.
The Company
Very relaxed and always a lot of fun, good work balance.
Very well organised. they gave me the opportunity to spend time in other departments so i got a feel for the whole company.
They sent me on training courses and spent a lot of time teaching me everything i needed to know and didnt cut corners!
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
I have been offered the chance to return as long as there is not a freeze on recruitment
The Culture
Yes there is a Intern social committee at Disney which i was part of, always organising events and nights out, met lots of great people
Very expensive but it is London, there are things you can do on the cheap but generally expensive everywhere.
The nightlife in Hammersmith is pretty poor but you are only 15mins tube to central london so its best to travel there for nights out
yes so many. I was invloved in volunteering for the Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital Appeal that Disney have. I organised a hike up Mount Snowdon for 24 of my collegues, best thing i have ever done
