About You
Everyone was really friendly and it was definitely worht while! Several socials were arranged due the three weeks.
I was given some real responsibility and wasn't made to feel like a spare part.
People in all areas of the company were supportive, encouraging and willing to help at any time.
I learnt so much in three weeks, all of which is valuable in any working environment.
The Company
The first day and a half was training but then we were straight onto client site. This worked really well and ensured everyone got the most out of the short scheme.
There was always lots going on in the office and socially.
Basic training was given but the most valuable development came on client site where the employees guided you through the different processes.
You get treated like a first year on a graduate scheme. Talking to the people who work there about their experiences really gave a clear idea what it is like to work at Deloitte.
You have the chance to really get involved in all aspects of Deloitte life.
Because you are doing the same work as a graduate would, you can really get a feel for whether ornot the job is for you.
Everything Else
Deloitte will happily reimburse any expenses.
There were a couple of social events with other people in the firm and you are working with employees all day from first year graduates to partner. The exposure was great!
The social events weren't as helpful as I thought they were going to be at networking.
There were lots of sporting opportunites and people would often go for a drink after work.
Definitely worth considering!
