  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • My 2 months at phase eight has been a fantastic opportunity and has allowed me to put what i am learning at university into practice.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • Everyone in the office was very friendly and supportive during my 2 months at phase eight, i worked with a number of departments and didnt once feel undervalued

    • Everyone was very friendly and offered supported when i needed it.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • i was given the perfect amount of work, not too much that i felt overwhelmed but not too little i was bored. It was enough to give me a true taste of the work phase eight do.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • All my tasks were very well explained to me and i always had people supporting me so i didnt feel as if it was too much responsibility.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The skills that ive learnt during my intership were great and will help me with my degree

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Everyone is really friendly and welcoming, many of the employees in the head office are young and there is clearly a very friendly and fun atmosphere.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?

    • I had the perfect amount of information given to me before i started my placement and was given a detailed timetable on arrival of which departments i will be working in for 2 months and who i will be reporting to. The HR team also spoke to me on a regular basis on how i was enjoying my placement.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • Phase Eight gave me a great opportunuity to work in different departments which allowed me to discover which areas of fashion retails i enjoy and which i didnt so much. Phase Eight is quickly expanding which means there were loads of new aspects of the firm to work with.

    • i would love the opportunity to work with phase eight again, whether in my sandwich year place or a graduate job.

    • There was a perfect balance of social and work ethic

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Being based in south west london it is an expensive area

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

    • Being so close to central london and many close tube stops and over ground its very easy to get to any where in london. Fulham has loads of pubs.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

    • There were many opportunities for activities after work such as drinks and organised socials such as rounders.
