About You
All in all, a very enjoyable and useful day.
Only there for one day.
Explained what bank did and potential careers.
Team building exercises improved my communication skills.
The Company
Very well structured. Slides went through nitty-gritty information, but any potential monotony was put on hold by introducing tea breaks and team games.
Everybody was young, excited and keen to learn more about the bank. Seeing everyone dressed in smart business attire really gives you a sense of what it would be like to work in the city, motivating you to achieve your goals even further.
Only there for one day so you don't expect much personal investment.
A lot. Showed the professional side but also the social side.
It was great in showing us how employees lives were in general, and all the social clubs on offer within the bank.
Useful. Showed me that public sector was an option having only previously considered private sector banking.
Everything Else
A maximum of £35 travel expenses is paid for UK citizens. Cost me in excess of £100 with hotel and petrol.
Yes, as much time as you required at the end of the day, and also at lunch and tea breaks.
Great, and provided free alcohol/soft drinks.
Yes, such as membership of Queens club, London, and seeing famous players for example.
Great experience all in all, and definitely feel as though I have impoved and become more confident as a person.
