The Role
Everyone was really friendly and lots of fun. It was great experience too to put on my CV
The team was extremely welcoming and including, i felt like a full time member of the team.
Although i took charge of my own learning i felt, i tried to avoid pestering management with questions of what i wanted to do. Instead i talked directly to the people i thought could help me. But at the same time i never felt like i couldn't talk to anyone if needs be.
This varied day to day but certainly nearer the end i was on meet and greet or shadowing most days which was a lot more fun and interesting than most things.
I was allowed to take charge of my own learning and development and report back what it was i had been doing and whati had gained which was very satisfying.
I gained extremely valuable workplace experience and the skills that come with that. I learnt how to get on well with people and how to act in numerous situations which will be invaluable moving forward.
The Company
Although the work got done, there was always a laugh to be had.
I took charge of a lot of things but there was always something to do.
Management tried to get me the best experiences as possible in various meetings and visits to other branches which was good for my development.
National Travel
Financial Bonus
There is a clear process to getting a graduate job which is very reassuring.
The Culture
The interns are all really friendly and helpfful and up for a laugh too
I had already lived near by so i could commute from home, this being not that expensive.
I lived near my placement so this was just as good as usual.
Yes there were various activites going on such as a charity walk and other conferences and stuff that i could get stuck in with.
