    • Enjoyed working as an auditor and starting my training towards becoming a chartered accountant

    • Regular meetings during my probationary period and feedback forms after each job helped to monitor my development

    • During audits I was very busy but when in the office there was not much work available

    • I was made responsible for my own sections on an audit

    • Everyone was friendly

    • Placement was organised well except for the last few weeks when there was not much work available for the placement students. We were treated the same as graduates.

    • I received no training at College towards the qualification, only on the job experience

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Other placement students and colleagues were friendly and welcoming but there was not much of a social scene

    • I did not experience the nightlife much but there are not many bars, restaurants or clubs near the office
