The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed my placement year. Gained lots of experience and been involved in a wide range of different tasks and activities. Met lots of lovely people.
I feel very valued by my colleagues I feel like I was treat exactly the same as all the other graduates even though I was only a placement student. I was given the same tasks as them which made me feel like a valued member of the team.
I feel I was given good support from my supervisor he was always there to help if I needed anything and assisted me when needed for my portfolio for uni.
Depending what I was working on each week would determine how busy I would but. When out on jobs this is when it is more time pressured.
I feel I was given quite a lot of responsibility. For example I do stock takes on my own, and I did an independent examination (small audit) on my own.
I feel the skills I have learnt will help me in the future and help me to do well in my final year of uni.
The Company
The general atmosphere in the office was a good balance I feel. Not too loud but not silent.
Very well set up all my jobs are planned for me in advance so I know what I will be doing each week.
Good training, when I first started I had a full week of training and then we have training once every 2 months
Very appealing I will be applying for RSM Tenon when I go back to uni.
The Culture
Very good there was one other placement student and 9 other graduates.
Reasonable city centre costs
Very good, city centre of leeds
Reasonably limited.
