The Role
I very much enjoyed my internship, it has helped me decide that this is the career I want to pursue. I enjoyed coming into work each morning and I will miss all the people there.
I felt like my colleagues all trusted me to do work, and everyone was really friendly.
My manager was supportive and always willing to answer any queries that I had.
I was generally kept very busy (but not too busy!) during my internship, I had lots of task to do alongside the actuarial work so there was rarely a moment where I had nothing to do.
I was given a fair bit of responsibility but obviously there were some tasks that I wouldn't be able to do without lots more training.
I have learnt some valuable office and work skills that can't be taught in a degree, and also the training sessions given to me during my internship were all brilliant and very helpful.
The Company
Very fun and friendly, but at the same time hard-working, so I thought it was an ideal place to work.
It was planned very well and I always knew what I was supposed to be doing. We had lots of different tasks planned for us and all worked well.

The Culture
All the other interns in my office were very friendly and we all went out after work together. The collegues were also socialable and often events ot pub meet-ups were organised for after-work.
The cost of living was as I expected as the office is near London, it's more expensive than where I live at home but not too bad.
The nightlife consists of mainly pubs which I think is great. There is even one club in the town.
There was always something going on. During my time here I played tennis, badminton, rounders, went on a boat party, went to wine-tasting, to a pub quiz and lots more!
