The Role
I enjoyed the majority of the work I was given and it gave me what I thought was a fairly realistic impression of the sort of work I might expect to do should I join the firm.
Certainly once I'd found my feet after the first week or two I felt like I had got the hang of the tasks I was performing and was making a valuable contribution.
Couldn't have asked for more - everyone was always very willing to help even when they were busy.
Always had something to do.
The nature of a lot of the work I was doing was not such that I had a huge amount of responsibility at all time. However, I was involved in the running of a charity event, which was definitely a position of responsibilty, and one that I enjoyed.
The work was not directly related to my degree. However, working here has certainly made me more switched on and motivated with regard to finding a job for after university, which can only be a ogod thing!
The Company
Great vibes. Met lots of nice people.
Brilliant. Really well thought out to give us plenty to do and give us an insight into the firm's activities.
Lots of training!
I would like to work for Deloitte, either in Jersey or the UK, after doing a master's.
The Culture
5-a-side football, tennis tournament - great fun.
Jersey is expensive.
Not great - but I live here and my friends are here, so it's easy to enjoy it.
Sports.
