The Role
It has been an enjoyable experience and I have been treated very well by the company during my time here.
I felt very valued by my colleagues and have been treated as a proper member of staff rather than just 'the intern'
The support and guindance I receieved by each of my incharge's was largely excellent and they always helped me with any issues or problems I have to the best of my ability.
I was usually a good balacne between broed and busy however there were times when it could go either way and I was given either too much or not enough to do.
To my surprise I had a lot of client facing opportunities and was given full responsibility for finding out certain information from the client.
I have learnt an invaluable amount of skills in the past few weeks largely about how such a big coorporation is run and have learn other skills which will be useful to me in the future in whatever I do.
The Company
The atmosphere in the main Canary Wharf office was always fantastic and I really enjoyed being there. However sometimes at client sites the atmosphere could be quite depressing as clients were not always helpful and did not seem to want you to be there.
The internship was very well set up and we had a two day training course in Bristol with interns from all over the country on our first 2 days. This was a fantastic start to the placement.
KPMG seemed to give all the possible training and development possible within the 8 weeks and spent a lot of money taking me to different places to see different aspects of the business.

If you pass the internship KPMG will offer you a partner interview in order to secure a graduate job
The Culture
The social scene was pretty good, however becuase a lot of us were on different clients around the country sometimes it was difficult to arrange things.
You can't expect it to be cheap in London!
Central London!
There were quite a few actitivites, mainly in the line of socialising, lots of drinks events and there was a corporates summer party.
