The Role
Really interesting scope of work, with lots of variety
I felt the firm really valued the employees' efforts, and is very fair in treatment of employees.
Not much support offered up front, which I actually feel was a good thing, as it threw me straight into the deep end, and forced me to find my feet and grow in confidence. However, I had no problems finding the support when I needed it.
Varied- one week non stop, one week nothing to do, mostly somehwere in between.
Lots of responsibility, but I was able to ask for help when it was needed.
I've learnt loads about the business world and what to expect from full time employment.
The Company
Colleagues we really easy to get along with, but the office atmosphere was very much work- focused.
Was left with very few questions about my internship.
They spent a lot of time explaining the work to me, so that I was fairly autonomous by the end, having had lots of training towards the start of the placement.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
They are, apparently, keen to take on their interns, so I hopefully will get a job!
The Culture
We had a regional induction which was a great social affair, but I was the only intern in my office, so no social scene there!
Pretty well priced.
Never went for a night out there, so couldn't say.
There's lots there, but you do have to dig them out.
