About You
It was really good and I enjoyed each day and I felt like a learnt a lot
All of the employees were very friendly, helpful and welcoming and would give you responsibility as well as supporting you
It is a very steep learing curve so you must be applied but as long as you work hard then you can cope and people are always willing to help and give advice and assistance
The skills I have gained from this internship will help me through much of life and further careers and although I havent gone to uni yet I feel I have learnt invaluable lessons
The Company
The program was very well structured and I was able to visit clients on 6 of the 8 days that I was scheduled to be in the office as well 2 days spent with other people from the program which meant I was able to learn lots about auditing as well astravelling round manchester, birmingham and London
Everybody was friendly and there was always a light atmosphere in the team.
We did not recieve much training but there was a lot of learning on the job and I have learnt a lot about the basics of auditing
the two weeks showed me a great deal about BDO and what goes on on a day to day basis
i learnt a lot about BDO from being round the office
It has made me sure that this is the career path that I want to pursue in the future
Everything Else
I was paid for my placement and they offer to pay for expences of visiting clients however I had to stay in a hotel for my placement and no offer has been made to cover the cost of this
yes, we had to network with other interns to create a presentation for the last day and you work in team with other employees
good, we spent the first and last day as a group doing activities and there were chances to meet up with employees
I was informed about lots of sports teams that I could join
definately, it was a great experience
