  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • The job, as with most internships goes through stages which are busy and stages where their is less to do.

    • Birthday presents from colleagues and genuine appreciation of my work.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • Regular, every couple of weeks, lunch meetings with HR and weekly meetings with placement manager.

    • Went through stages of both.

    • Was suprised at the level of responsibility given to me.

    • Not overly helpful with degree studies but learnt lots of skills for after.

    • Was nothing like the perceptions I had of the organisation, very friendly and inclusive.

    • Could have used my time better if more organisation was in place.

    • Lots of extra training and events for interns.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • We all got on well and thier was a sense of community.

    • Edinburgh can be an expensive city.
