The Role
It's a great company and a wide variety of work which helps create a very stimulating environment.
We went for regular team meals and always took lunch as a team and everyone takes an active interest in each other.
Whenever I needed assistance it was provided and my colleagues had considerable expertise in whichever area I was having difficulty with
Generally the balance is perfect. But this is a huge company and you can expect to be snowed under at times, although this is no bad thing
You are given plenty of responsibility, but I was in a Finance Department and you can only expect so much responsibility as an intern in these departments.
I have gained so many transferable skills that would be valued by any employer.
The Company
Due to our strong team ethic, we had a very positive atmosphere. But we are a very busy team in a very busy company and no job will give you non-stop fun!
It was perfectly structured. My team knew how to help me get the most out of the opportunity and the HR team implemented a number of initiatives to support this.
Full training into systems and opportunities for specific training within Office Packages, SAP etc.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I have been offered a full time job!
The Culture
Yes, there are a number of interns here who you will see on a regular basis.
About the norm for outside of London I would say.
Perhaps the only disappointment is that you have to travel out a bit to experience a good night out.
Yes, there is 5-a-side football, Top Golf and other stuff if you are not into sport.
