The Role
My internship was really enjoyable and I worked with some great people, however I was at times bored during my internship and tended to enjoy the busier times.
I felt valued and they were really friendly and welcoming however I think I could have had a more important role in helping my colleagues with their work.
I would have liked to have had regular direction and things to do from managers.
There were times when I would have liked to be given more to do during my placement, and to have been kept busier.
On meet and greet in the retail branch I felt a strong sense of responsibility, however apart from that I would have liked more real responsibility.
I developed increasing confidence during my internship and greatly improved on my people skills.
The Company
The branch was filled with young and energetic staff.
My branch did not know I would be there until the morning of my arrival.
The business project we were given really helped with personal training and development and I felt like my managers were investing in my opinions on the business and valuing my views.
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I hope to do more internships with the bank in the future.
The Culture
Yes, we did some things after work e.g. going out for drinks.
I did my internship in the city that I live in which is quite cheap.
I didn't explore the nightlife.
yes, charity events as part of the internship.
