The Role
I think this internship is one of the best out there!
I felt part of the team and my colleagues were welcoming and friendly.
My manager always took care for me to have what to do and permanently asked whether i needed any help.
During my internship I always had something to do, but the deadlines were not that pressing and it was an exception rather than the rule to stay overwork.
I was given full responsiblity of working on clients and taking charge of how i was planning my work,
I developed many skilles that will help me in the future, such as the abillity to speak in front of a big audience, the ability to talk to clients, planning skills etc
The Company
The atmoshere in the office was lovely. We work both individually and as a team and wherever needed there is someone there willing to help you.
The internship was very structured: you always know what you will be assessed on and therefore you can focus developing those skills.
The company cares a great deal about its employees' development and thus provides training to them, such as a 2 day training course in Bradenham on presentation skills.
Company Parties/Events
I have been offered a graduate job.
The Culture
We ahad a few outings, such as a wlcoming lunch for us the interns and a celebratory dinner/ drinks.
The cost of living is not that high, especially since i already had a rented apartment to live in. There are many places where you can eat/ drink at affordable prices.
Glasgow is a city with a great nightlife, having many clubs and bars with live music.
We had a CSR day that involved transforming a school near Birmingham into a much nicer and welcoming place.
