The Role
A varied year, with work involved in plant and in the office.
Felt very valued, especially with a lovely card for my birthday!
Support and guidance was available if needed, everyone is very helpful most of the time.
It varied, due to routines I was working on I was busier earlier in the month. There was always work to be doing though.
A lot of responsibility during refuelling outage, when the health physics department became busy.
Learnt quite specific technical skills so not sure how transferable they'll be, but otherwise the other skills learnt will come in very handy.
The Company
Quite quiet, not much social chatter, but atmosphere generally very hard working.
Left to my own devices a lot, but guidance always available.
A lot of training involved, very much encouraged.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Have had an interview for the graduate scheme, waiting to hear.
The Culture
Excellent social scene, especially amongst grads and IPs.
Not too bad, [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] the local shop was quite expensive.
Pretty rubbish, leiston is in the middle of nowhere (about 40mins taxi to ipswich).
A leisure centre close by is pretty good, but not work related.
