The Role
The friendly work environment allowed me to enjoy my time at Aon
All work whether important or not was appreciated
By having a manager and a graduate buddy I also had someone help me. The open plan work enviroment also ment I was able to get help from other colleagues around me.
I never had a day with no work as there was always a task in the office.
As the internship progressed so did my responsibility.
The internship is set up to help develop knowledge and skills. From learning how to calculate a pension to learning how to present effectively.
The Company
Everyone was friendly so it was never dull in the office
I had no problems with setting up.
The first three days of my internship was dedicated to training. I also had to complete training/development courses during the internship.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Opportunities are available to work another summer (If you havent graduated yet) or move into a graduate job.
The Culture
All interns in my office and other offices took the time to socialise after work or training days.
Lived from home so my cost of living was low
The local town has a reasonable Thursday night for students.
Wakeboarding and Five-a-side football were just a few things offered to all staff during my internship.
