The Role
I loved it! such a great atmosphere, a young company so there's always something going on.
You do the same job as full time members so you are equally as valued and always receive praise if you do well.
managers were always there to help if you needed it. Even the CEO usually has his door open if you want a chat
It varied. Some days were so busy and I did a lot of overtime (you're not made to, sometimes it helps) but some months were very quiet. I preferred it when it was busy
You have to prove yourself first but yes there are opportunities to take on more responsible roles and at the end of placement it is your job to train the next batch of students
I have learnt more skills on placement than I could have ever learnt at uni. Definitley a really important year for me
The Company
Good atmosphere, people worked hard but there is so much praise when you do well. Theres also some really fun socials.
Great, really enjoyed it
With a lot of students it is hard for managers to 'invest' lots of time in me, but I feel that everyone is very valued in the company
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Would definitely consider coming back. Only downside is the cost of living in Windsor
The Culture
Because many people are or have been students, most people have moved to Windsor for the job so there is loads of social stuff all the time as well as the company-organised stuff
Windsor is expensive! but a lovely place to live. House prices were more than expected
pretty good in comparison to the student union!
Not that I participated in but there was a cycling race, football teams, rubgy teams etc
