  • I had some very busy periods, but was never left without work to do.

  • I was given responsibilities from day one. After a couple of months I was even given responsibilities to interact directly with clients

  • My placement year with IBM helped me to understand the business world and what opportunities lay ahead of me. Moreover, the experience helped me to decide what career path I would like to pursue in the future.

  • There were a lot of placement students like me based in my office at South Bank, London. We had a great community and I met some great people, both students and non-students.

  • I am very happy with how the placement scheme was organised.

  • There are a number of online courses that IBM offers to it's employees for free and I made a great use of them.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The social scene was very good, since there were a lot of us and a number of social events were organised.

  • London life style is quite expensive.
