The Role
I enjoyed it, and a lot of effort was put into training me, but it was often difficult to get hold of any proper work.
Was made to feel very welcome socially, but felt like a spare wheel work wise
People were very helpful in training me and explaining the pieces of work they gave me
Some days I was snowed under with work, and other days I was sitting there staring at a blank screen
Not much opportunity to take responsibility or initiative
Useful pensions knowledge, and office lifestyle, but I do not want to end up in a pensions department.
The Company
Very friendly and positive atmosphere. Everyone worked hard
Training was planned well, and I was put in a good team. Was difficult to get hold of work.
Given a lot of formal training sessions, and informal guidance on the individual pieces of work.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I would prefer to be in a different company, but wouldn't be sorry if I ended up at KPMG
The Culture
Lots of team and department socials, including random lunches in office canteen
centre of london so very expensive
loads to do
lots of company social groups
