The Role
It was great, I learnt so much
I was given a lot of responsibility from day 1 and really felt like I was helping the team get through the work load.
My line manager would stop whatever he was doing to answer a question or query I may have had.
There were times when I was flat out but I didn't mind that.
I was told to meet the client and put together the appropriate drawings and price list all by myself!
It has really given me an insight into designing highways
The Company
It was professinal but sometimes conversations started and this generated some discussion and friendly jokes
They knew exactly what they wanted me to do and had everything set up for when I came in.
I was provided with everything I needed but my training came from my line manager
Flexi Time
Company Car
Company Parties/Events
Nothing has been said but I feel that if there was space when I graduate, they would offer me a job
The Culture
Many of the people in my office travelled over an hour to get to work so unfortunately socials were few and far between
Average price I'd say
The local area wasn't great but slightly further afield there were some good places to go
There wasn't too much on
